Spin Class and Soup

I have really been under the weather for the past couple of weeks but have still been exercising and socializing thanks to my fear of missing out. It finally caught up to me Monday and I called into work for the first time ever! By Tuesday, I was well rested thanks to some Rx cough medicine so started the day by meeting Kathleen at Spin class. Spin is not my favorite-- it's so hard-- but I can't say no to meeting friends in the morning.

Breakfast was some oatbran crisps (I make a batch at the beginning of the week) topped with Smucker's reduced sugar strawberry jelly and goat cheese.

Last Sunday afternoon, Joey came into town and I hitched a ride to Trader Joe's while he went to the Apple store. This pumpkin soup was a perfect lunch for the rainy Tuesday! A little sweet, with a little hint of pumpkin.

I covered for Hiba while she was in Europe on vacation and as a thank you, she brought me back some Italian chocolate. I enjoyed more than my share!

Snack was an opportunity to continue the pumpkin theme so I had some of the bar I made over the weekend. I don't remember the exact recipe but it involved all good things like pumpkin, oatmeal, walnuts, honey, coconut, and chocolate chips. It was delicious. I'll post a recipe when I remake them!

Like I said, under the weather. So, my wonderful husband made us soup and grilled cheese for dinner. I love a classic.

Then, we continued to hang out with our friends Emily and Nolan from Revenge. I need this show to be over so I can have my life back. Before I was married I didn't watch tv...ever. What has happened to the girl I used to know!?

What's your favorite Netflix binge?
