No Plans on This Thursday


Thursday morning started with a run. We have had an early morning streak going this week and paused at our usual Railroad Park stop for a photo.

Breakfast was a peanut butter, banana protein smoothie. Frozen banana + PB fit + protein powder = deliciousness. Have you tried PB2 or PBfit? I just found PBfit in the store and bought it since it's a cheaper version of PB2. Slightly different nutritional content but overall the same. This is a great addition to smoothies to add that peanut butter taste without all the calorie it takes to get the peanut butter taste from peanut butter. As for standing in for peanut butter in all non-smoothie ventures, it's not my favorite. 

Banana midmorning snack. I have cut out my midmorning snack for the most part because I felt like I was eating all day, but I still try to listen to my body and when you're hungry, your hungry.

Lunch was catered from a local place called Ashley Mac's. I usually eat just the salad and take the chicken salad home to JT, but, as mention before, I was hungry!

Dinner came quick and the rest was a pretty uneventful afternoon (which was much needed!)
We had my mom's famous sub recipe: provolone cheese, ham, pepperoni, and Italian dressing. I put mine on a wrap and JT went all in with sub buns. 

For dessert, I had one of my new favorite things!

I love this yogurt and it is just enough for a sweet treat. I keep it in the freezer and usually take it to work, store it in the refrigerator until lunch, and eat it just when it's not frozen but still creamy and delicious!

We have been going non stop for the past few weeks so we were both thrilled when neither of us had plans for Thursday. We ate dinner, caught up on the day and were asleep by 9pm. I wouldn't have it any other way.
