Magical Ice Cream

Please tell me you have seen Once Upon A Time? I watch maybe an hour total television a week, max... But the last two Saturdays, I have been glued to Netflix and Season 1 of this show, like for 14 hours of television. Totally unhealthy. Honestly, I love Prince Charming, and he may or may not be the reason I keep watching.

It's magical.

Wanna know what else is magical? Banana "Ice Cream". I honestly could go without real ice cream forever if I could have banana ice cream every night. It's a super healthy sweet treat for the after dinner sweet tooth. Seriously, go freeze some bananas, mix in some cocoa, milk and Splenda, blend well, and just... believe in magic!

Before you get started, you must know that a banana has to be peeled before you freeze it, otherwise, your inner evil queen will come out when you try to peel the frozen peel from the fruit. I peel a whole bunch of bananas (especially if they are way too ripe!) at the beginning of the week and put them in a freezer bag until I need them. They need to freeze for a while, probably 4-5 hours, but I just let them go all night. In all of my recipes, you may use whatever sweetener you wish; same goes for the milk-almond coconut is always a good milk option! As for blending- I got a Ninja for my last birthday (my mom knows me pretty well) and have used it every day since. It blends the banana ice cream into a perfect creamy blend. I'm sure a regular blender will do the same, I just haven't tried it so I don't know. I do know that you don't need to go wasting money on a YoNana machine:) Lastly, I always eat this immediately so I don't know how it would do if you were to re-freeze it... that is, if you can hold yourself back from eating it right away.

1 large frozen banana
1/2 tablespoon Cocoa
          2 packets/teaspoons Splenda
1/2 cup fat free milk

1) Place all ingredients in your blender, blend until smooth, and enjoy!

See? Magical.

What show can you not stop watching right now?
